A boy was thrown out of a salesman’s interview because he did not know English. The boy had full confidence in himself. He asked the manager what do you mean by English? If I don’t sell more than the English people then don’t pay me a salary.
The manager understood that boy. He was hired.
What happened next, from the very next day the sales of the shop increased more than before. Within a week the boy sold three times more goods.
When the store owner came to know that sales had increased so much because of a new salesman, he could not control himself. Immediately reached the store to meet the boy. The boy was selling fishing hooks to a customer at that time. The owner stood at a distance and started watching.
The boy sold the fork. The customer asked the price. The boy said – Rs 800. , Saying this, the boy looked at the customer’s shoes and said – Sir, will you go fishing wearing such expensive shoes? Will get spoiled. Do one thing, buy another pair of cheap shoes.
The customer also bought shoes. Now the boy said – You will have to sit in the sun on the bank of the pond. Take a hat too. The customer also bought the hat. The customer also bought biscuits, snacks and water bottles.
Now the boy said – If you catch a fish, how will you bring it home? Buy a basket too. The customer bought that too. Total Rs 2500. The customer left with Rs.
The owner was very happy to see this sight. He called the boy and said – You are an amazing man, friend! Sold so much stuff to a man who had come only to buy a fishing hook?
